The Missing Scarf is a short animated tale which follows Albert the Squirrel as he searches for, you guessed it, his missing scarf. The film forces together differing animation styles, tactile 3D next to flat 2D. The colour palette and overprinting are ascetics borrowed from print design. The contradictory styles blended to created a welcoming unassuming forest where all is well.
The film garnered sizable success on the festival circuit winning on average one film festival every two weeks for an entire year.
George Takei
The amazing George Takei was kind enough to lend his voice to the project, and boy did he deliver. A powerful performance that more than nailed the persona of the film.
